Itinerary
Day 1
Zion National Park
Known as "the Garden of the Gods". Zion is one of the truly unique and incredible national treasures filled with magnificent rocks. It is the most preferential place for travelers. We visit the Human History Museum, Natural Bridge, Carmel Tunnel, and Check Board Mesa at Zion Canyon.
Zion-Mt. Carmel Tunnel
Six large windows cut into the sandstone cliffs offer glimpses of spectacular Zion scenery as visitors drive through the tunnel. This also provides light and ventilation inside the tunnel.
Checkerboard Mesa
The unusual crack pattern in the sandstone hills resembles a grid much as you would see on a checkerboard.
Horseshoe Band
Antelope Canyon
Day 2
Grand Canyon
Lipan Point
Many visitors claim that Lipan Point offers one of the most spectacular Canyon vistas in the entire park. Westward views seem to stretch outward forever, and Canyon walls present a tapestry of colors and textures. The Colorado River cuts through the deepest part of the Canyon near here, and sunset views are incredible as well.
Mather Point
Typically the most popular, first-time views of Grand Canyon occur at either Mather Point. Mather Point is situated at just over 7,000 feet elevation. Visitors will be awe-struck by the view before them. Far below your view is Phantom Ranch, at the canyon's base.
Yavapai Point
Yavapai Point affords panoramic views of Havasupai Point to the west and Desert View to the east. Set just inside the south entrance to the park, Mather Point often serves as introduction to the Canyon. First-time visitors are struck by the scale and immensity of the chasm, and some have even been known to fall to their knees and weep, overwhelmed by the spectacle.
